RWA EDU / TCG

TCG research overview

Explore trading card games through physical items, rights, custody, pack mechanics and evidence. Start with questions, published foundations and original documents.

This is an educational research map. It does not list approved TCG products or verify a physical item, valuation, random draw or personal eligibility.

Four research areas

Physical item and grading

  • Which card, edition, language, variant and certificate does the record identify?
  • What do the grading record and current item images establish, and which checks remain separate?

Published foundations

Rights and custody

  • Which documents describe physical ownership, token control and intellectual-property rights?
  • Who holds the item, and what conditions govern custody, withdrawal, delivery and disputes?

Published foundations

Draws and buybacks

  • Which inventory, probabilities, valuation inputs and random-selection mechanism are disclosed?
  • How are keeping, selling back and physical withdrawal treated, and which fees or limits need checking?

Published foundations

Sources and measurement

  • Does each figure describe gross pack sales, buybacks, cash receipts or an accounting result?
  • Which period, products, wallets, retained items and offchain flows are included or missing?

Read the publisher’s current document and its scope. Documentation, independent valuation, physical operation and geographic eligibility require separate checks.

Manual cash-balance scenario

Enter your own educational assumptions. No platform figures are prefilled or verified. This simplified balance is not accounting gross profit, an audited forecast or a product recommendation.

All rates use percent: enter 100 for 100%. R = b × v; v is expected reference value divided by pack price, b is the buyback fraction of that same reference value. R already includes v; it is never multiplied by v again.

Use the same period and pack mix throughout. q is the sellback share weighted by expected reference value, not people, wallets or card count. K covers other costs/adjustments as a share of the same sales S; exclude buybacks already counted. Blank means unknown; enter 0 only as an explicit zero assumption.

R% = b% × v% / 100; B/S% = q% × R% / 100; g% = 100 − B/S% − K%

Manual cash-balance scenario

Preparing scenario controls.

Amount in the selected currency, from 0 to 1,000,000,000. Changing currency relabels the assumption; it does not convert the amount.
Non-negative percent. May exceed 100%. Do not add v again.
0–100%, weighted by reference value for that period and mix.
Non-negative percent of S, possibly above 100%. Unknown is not zero; do not count buybacks twice.

Enter assumptions, then calculate. Nothing is saved or sent.

Amounts are rounded only for display in the selected currency; rates show up to six decimals. Negative balances are retained. Inputs stay in this document only, with no storage, analytics or external requests.

Product-specific quantitative research requires separate editorial approval before publication. The manual scenario here uses only your assumptions.
