OUR STANDARDS

Data methodology

Every material field needs a traceable source. Unknown is a valid answer.

Initial release · 18 October 2026

A shared product framework

Identify the economic exposure, legal or contractual rights, asset holder and obligor, settlement mechanism, and failure scenarios. Categories may overlap, but a payment card, derivative, fund unit, and direct share do not imply the same rights.

Evidence levels

Verified official: a primary document has been inspected for the stated fact. Verified direct test: a reproducible observed result with conditions and date. Provider claim: attributed but not independently confirmed. Third-party report: attributed secondary reporting. Unverified: not yet checked. Unknown: no usable evidence.

Eligibility and freshness

A country name alone does not establish eligibility. Residency, issuance, identity requirements, shipping, and restrictions must be verified separately. Verification dates are field-specific. Card data older than 14 days is flagged stale by the domain freshness rule; undated or future-dated data is unknown. This flag is a prompt to re-check, not proof that unchanged terms remain available.

Calculator assumptions

The card cost calculator uses manual assumptions, not live product terms. Percentages apply to the disclosed bases. FX cannot be added twice. Currency conversion is not assumed. Only realizable fiat rewards enter net cost; volatile token rewards and staking opportunity cost are separate. Repeating a month twelve times is an annualized scenario, not a forecast.

No unsupported recommendations

There are no verified card records in the initial production dataset. Empty results are intentional. Testing fixtures are excluded from production readers, search, and comparisons. We do not fill missing facts with zero fees or assumed eligibility.
